About to ICHSSER 2026
Background and Objectives of the Meeting Meeting Background Against the backdrop of globalization, technological change, and social transformation, research and educational practice in humanities and social sciences are facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities. This conference will be held in Xi'an, China, with the aim of building a dialogue platform for global humanities and social science research and educational practice, bringing together education scholars, humanities and social science researchers, policy makers, and frontline educators to explore innovative paths for humanities and social science education in these contexts, and promote educational equity and quality improvement. Meeting objectives Building interdisciplinary communication platforms to promote the deep integration of humanities and social science research with educational practice; Exploring topics such as the inheritance of humanistic spirit and cross-cultural comparative research methods in the digital age, focusing on the value of humanities and social science knowledge for individual growth and social development; Share educational reform strategies such as digital transformation and curriculum system reconstruction, and explore educational models that meet the needs of future society; Formulate policy recommendation reports and teaching case collections to provide reference for educational decision-making, curriculum development, and teaching practice, and help build an educational ecosystem with profound humanistic heritage and technological empowerment.
Record
All full paper submissions to the ICHSSER 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ICHSSER 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.
Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to ichsser@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
